Hampshire Wedding Photography at Marwell Hotel
From the moment I stepped into Kerry’s childhood home for ‘getting ready’ photographs I knew her wedding day was going to be filled with excellent people. Apart from a very barky sausage dog doing a fine job of protecting his family, the welcome couldn’t have been warmer with offers of tea and croissants from the outset.
After a couple of slurps from a mighty fine cuppa made by Kerry’s dad, I got on with blending into what was happening and getting pictures in my documentary approach.
After Kerry’s bridal prep I caught up with Dan and the boys at St John’s Church in Hedge End. Dan was as warm and welcoming as ever and so obviously looking forward to becoming Kerry’s husband. Dan’s brother was Best Man and did a great job of calming any nerves he may have had. The ceremony finished with a rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In” which was very apt and possibly the loudest singing I’ve heard at a wedding.
After the ceremony we made our way to Marwell Hotel where they celebrated in sunshine and style, the first day of the rest of their married lives with an amazing group of family and friends.
Here’s a few pictures from Kerry & Dan’s wedding day.
